Notes from Martin Carbone
- As of today (9/20/09). Our goal is to explain, to the American public -- in plain
English, exactly how our Money, Banking, Capitalist and Economic systems work.
We can't fix it -- if we do not understand it.
- Please note that our current goal is not to fix the present systems -- we believe we
have to be fairly certain we understand the systems before we should try to fix them.
- Disclaimer -- I claim no expertise in these subjects (or any related subject).
- Much of what I have written here will sound like I believe that writing to be a fact or
true. I herewith disavow anything and everything that sounds like I think it is a fact
or true.
- If you find me contradicting myself, it is because I am conflicted on many things.
- Don't accept anything you find here if it does not comport with your God-given
common sense.
- Follow Buddha’s dictum -- “Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or
who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason
and your own common sense.”
- I will be trying to follow that dictum and will not accept anything you say or write
unless it agrees with my reason and common sense.
- I look forward to coming to a joint, common understanding of the United States'
Money, Banking and Economics systems.
- Before we finish, I will somehow put together definitive statements identifying
what I believe to be true and what I believe to be false within our presentation.
- Please see << http://www.primeronmoney.com/moneyfacts.html >>. We have a
feeling that we will use the information there to point us in the right direction. We do
not now believe everything that is written there.
- For Librarians -- We will be trying to put all the information on this website together
in a series of booklets. We will make those booklets available to libraries at cost -- hoping
those libraries will actively use those booklets as the target of discussion groups that
will be formed at each library. The discussion groups will each independently help
correct the booklets so they wind up being a definitive presentation of these subjects.
Please contact me at the address at the top of this page to discuss this program.
- Please see << http://www.primeronmoney.com/bookpage3.html >> for an Introduction
to our larger version of "What YOU, I, the EXPERTS, our GOVERNMENT, the
AMERICAN PUBLIC, WIKIPEDIA and the POPE do not know about our Money and
Banking system"
- With regard to purchases of our booklets and books -- 100% satisfaction is guaranteed.
- Return ANY OF OUR books in 30 days and we will send an immediate refund.
- Order from any of the contact addresses above.
- We are not set up to use credit cards -- send a check with your order.

Our most important CURRENT information --- 9/21/09
(1) The Google Poll -- "Creating Money out of thin air"? Links to almost 100 internet
articles on this very important subject which is the fulcrum of our Money and Banking
system
(2) Cover-of and 1st page-of the 52 page introductory book, "What YOU, I, the
EXPERTS, our GOVERNMENT, the AMERICAN PUBLIC, WIKIPEDIA and the POPE
do not know about our Money and Banking system"
(3) Links to all the pages in the 220-page book: >>
http://www.primeronmoney.com/allpages.html <<
(4) Reserves -- Leads to a list-of and links-to articles on "Reserves" and "Creating
Money" -- 2 related subjects. We are gathering together all of our information on those
two subjects in an effort to come to some conclusions as to how money is really created.
It is now obvious to us that The Federal Reserve System lies repeatedly about (A) how
they create money and (B) how reserves come into play in the creation of money. It is our
goal to analyze the various information we have and generate a theory of (A) and (B)
based on solid inference and deduction based on that information. We can't fix the
system if we do not understand it.
(5) Links to classic books, essays, articles, authors and theories on
Economics, Money and Banking.
(6) Google books on economics --- over 4,000 links to some of the best
economics books of all time. See # 11 at:

- Just to let you know I am well aware that some people who are considered "experts" do not agree with my views, I am posting herewih the last email I received from William Hummel -- I never responded. (mrc) 11/9/09
From William Hummel"About you (sic.) posts (Wed, February 4, 2009 3:29:07 PM) To: Martin Carbone <martycarbone@yahoo.com> Hello Martin, Your posts have shown that you have a great deal to learn about money and how it works. You may not think so, but most of the contributing members are considerably ahead of you in that respect. You seem to be more interested in promoting your ill-conceived policies than improving your own understanding, which is the real purpose of the group. Your latest post arguing that government borrowing is absurd because it can create all the money it needs to spend is a good example. It shows such a complete lack of understanding of the imperatives in the monetary system that I had no interest in responding to it. I was hesitant to invite you to join after reading some of your ideas, and I may have made a mistake. I think you have now become a distraction to most of the group. Please consider this a friendly warning that your membership is on a probationary status." William Hummel
- "Natural Money: The most efficient monetary system" -- << http://model-economy.wikispaces.com/natural-money >> This is a strange article that claims to introduce "... The most efficient monetary system ... ". We believe the system certainly deserves a hearing and a discussion. At the very least, the system avoids the natural problems of runaway compoud interest and the natural aversion to "creating money out of thin air". I believe it tends to favor people who were born into wealth and who have existing fortunes -- but all extant systems have that problem, and it can probably be controlled. (mrc) See << http://www.naturalmoney.org/short.html >> for a short description and << http://www.naturalmoney.org/full-theory.html >> for a long description. See << http://www.primeronmoney.com/natural - money.html >> for the information on this site -- <<primeronmoney.com>>. Note: this is not an endorsement of the system -- there are lots of assertions in their description that we do not think are justifiable -- 10/29/09 On second thought, we think this system is totally. unworkable and more of a fantasy than a plan. There might be an idea or two that could be reworked into a more realistic system.
