Is economic theory the intellectual equivalent of
religious dogma --- "belief without reason"?
There seems to be two main problems with trying to discuss economics.
(1) There simply are too many conflicting economic theories
(2) Most people "believe" in economic theories like they "believe" in
religious dogma -- blindly, fervently, irrationally.
Those two factors combine to make discussions on economics very
difficult and confusing.
