• Designed and developed the first large Styrofoam glider. Sold design on a royalty basis to Eldon Industries. More than 500,000 sold.
• Developed GAPOXIO (tm), a ceramic/epoxy composite repair and construction material which we sold by mail order to industrial accounts for 31 years.
• As General Manager and Vice President, took 20 year old mail order company from $500,000 annual sales to $3,5000,000 in three years. At that time, we were the largest user of UPS in Santa Barbara and the largest single user of card pack advertising in the world.
• Singlehandedly captured a purse snatcher on Fremont St. in downtown Las Vegas.
• Conceived of and produced 1,000 page mail order catalog of industrial products.
• Managed largest Card Deck Sales Program of industrial products in the world for a decade. Personally wrote copy and did most of the art work for more than 1000 cards -- probably more than any other person over that period.
• Finished 9th in Original World Series of Poker (7-card stud) at Binion's (1976?)
• Knocked Johnny Moss, the Babe Ruth of poker players, out of a World Series of Poker game in Las Vegas.
• Conceived of, and started the Boys' Club soccer league in Carpinteria, Cal. (1978)
• Invented Tabletop Boxmakers. Patent # 5,484,373 and four others. 300,000 Boxmakers sold in the craft market
• Semi-retired since 1996
• Self published a book on teaching reading " Teach The Sort Words First"
• Received a patent on a knife sharpening system in 2006.

16. PANCAKE ™ Binding System - An economical system for producing books that lay flat and will not snap shut.
17. ROLLER COATER™ - Adhesive Applicator - Rolls on a film of pressure sensitive adhesive to join any two flat surfaces at any later time.

Retail Store Concept - Developed plans for a retail store which will sell paper, cardstock, adhesives, tapes, tools and paraphernalia related to scrapbooks, photo albums, boxes, portfolios, envelopes, display cases & such in which to store, preserve, protect and display memorabilia. This could be a stand-alone location or a “Memory - Lane” section of an existing store.This store could also serve industrial and commercial customers, making boxes for these companies and processing paper and cardstock as in #28 above -- the store would also sell various archival products for use by industrial companies.(this project was shelved in 2001)
